Ground eevee evo that I swear is not copied. I even checked DA to make sure but OTL who knows aaaa. It's also based on a Fennec Fox.

My game idea's version name is called Mercury/Jet/Hyacinth. The borders for the Jeju Dex Entries are orangy to silver because Mercury/Jet are silver and black, while Hyacinth is orange (the gem).

I AM SO HAPPY THAT I FOUND THE WAY TO MAKE THIS ART LOOK A LITTLE MORE SUGIMORI THAN USUAL MAKES ME HAPPY OMG. :heart: :heart: Aaand I might submit this to a Fakemon Contest run by *mistieredpanda. It was a planned fakemon but not necessarily royal...but it's worth trying I guess haha.

In the game, Terra is a Ground-type gym leader and considered to be a chief/leader/royalty in the city. Sierrane City (see map here: [link]) was founded by desert nomads. It is said that Sierreons have helped the people find the oasis that the city is dependent on. The legend goes as the following:

"When Sierrane Desert was just formed, only Pokemon capable of living in the desert lived. One day, a lost band of human travelers were stranded, a poor man's Eevee ran off in search of water for the group. After two days and nights, the Pokemon returned not as an Eevee...but something different. It held the Kingstone and a clear path to water from an oasis. Soon the poor man was placed as the king of nomads and the new Pokemon was considered to be royal."

So it is rather considered sacred to have one of these eevee evos around. Statues of it can be seen literally everywhere in the city. Think of them as Anubis statues and jackals in Egypt.

As for the Desert Temple, it is actually in a stretch of wild territory located behind the gym/outside the city. Of course, there are wild Pokemon about in which you can train/catch/etc. In the middle of it all, there is a broken obelisk that acts like Moss/Ice Rock in Sinnoh for Leafeon/Glaceon - as long as the eevee is holding a King's Rock and levels up. But that is not the only thing that resides in the temple... (and you guys will find out someday when I start drawing Jeju legendaries!)

PS for the curious: Yes, Sierreon looks plain and really not indicative of royalty or ground-type-ness, but I tried to make it simple. The Fennec is a desert/sand fox and it has nothing really ostentatious about it. It has huge ears, short fur, and other features that make it adaptable to the desert. Putting random jewels like that seen in Espeon would be unecessary and just...meh. I pretended this was an official Pokemon design and tried to cut down on fancy things. Plus certain features (like the fennec's busy tail) was changed around because it started to look too much like Eevee itself. So that was hard. Not to mention that there are MILLIONS of eevee evo idea pics floating around...and all of the others were really good too. It was a challenge even to consider having an eevee thing for Jeju but yea...I did it.

._. this is actually a great idea for one of Eevee's evolutions!

only suggestion is to make the ears higher and pointier to look like a jackel or some kind of canine found in the desert. c:

Very good~ You seem to have the anatomy down, and the proportions look perfect. You even used hard shapes and straight lines in its figure to make it look more like it relates to ground types, as opposed to water types having, say, curvy lines to resemble fluidity.

All in all, it's very good. One of my favorites. ;)
