Nuzlocke White: N's Room, Pt 2

And...we are getting closer to the fights....

So...many of you have mentioned how the first part of this arc was like PMMM, but the only thing I took from PMMM for N's room was just...the distorted form of it that was triggered with Nina's necklace. The entirety of N's room sequence was lifted from Howl's Moving Castle....specifically the scene where Sophie, thanks to the charmed ring Howl had given her, stumbles into Howl's past and finds out how Calcifer has Howl's heart. While Sophie's discovery is far more passive (she merely looks on and only shouts at young Howl at the very end), Nina obviously plays a more active role. She had given comfort to a younger version of N, and begins to understand the reason why N had been so fixated on her (granted N's actions in the present are still not excusable, but now a bit more understandable). And yes, the necklace disintegrating and her disappearing from young N's life is quite convenient (Nina leaves as soon as she realizes her actions had hurt N in the present). I mean, originally I was going to make Nina passively look at N's abusive past but before I started to script, I felt that giving that connection between N and Nina had to be more involved than observing.

I am not sure how well I had executed this whole thing, but perhaps these notes will let you understand my intent on this part of the finale.
