Pokemon OC: White Team B Roster

More White team bios! FYI, THIS IS NOT A NUZLOCKE TEAM.

These have their own little stories within a gijinka-verse.

Name: Timothy
Ability: Serence Grace
Bios: Timothy’s the baby of the family. Even though he is the youngest (he’s 12), he is quite big-boned (some say fat…it’s debatable)…so he looks pretty big for his age. He likes to fly around and when tired, nap in tree branches. He’s pretty dense and naïve…he relies a lot on older team members to tell him what to do in social situations. Often Timothy wishes he can be brave and confident but he gets scared easily (Anne delights in doing just that).

But because of his ability Serene Grace, he does incredibly well in battles and flinch/surprise many with his powerful special attacks. But without anyone helping him out, he falters. He thinks of Tesla as a mother-figure and gets along with Momo the best.

Name: Momo
Ability: Flame Body
Bios: Momo is a little diva…aka a very uppity girl who likes having her way, even if she might not quite deserve it. Because her adoptive parents (info TBA) were great fighters who had challenged the Pokemon league, she also wants to be the best battler in the team. But her inexperience (she’s only 14) and weaknesses (she HATES rock types). Despite her tendency to flare up both literally and figuratively, Momo gets over them quickly.

Her bashful tendencies tend to appear when Momo is in social situations with unfamiliar people. She tries to act cool and in-control but often finds herself quite thrown off. If it gets too much though, Momo simply flares up again and makes things…interesting for others, embarrassing for herself.

Name: Jazz
Ability: Poison Point
Bios: Jazz, despite his name, is not a jazz musician; his parents were jazz enthusiasts that decided to name their son after their favorite music genre. Even if he does not share their love for jazz, he still is passionate about music. Instead, he is part of a small rock band that his childhood friends made when they were 15. Within the crew, he specializes in the electric cello and is very, very proud of it. Insulting his cello is one of the quickest ways to make him mad.

For the most part, Jazz is an optimistic guy. He laughs easily and likes all kinds of jokes (even puns). Within the team he likes to hang out with Momo, whom he considers as a dramaqueen younger sister, and Ophelia, whom he enjoys to tease.

Name: Ophelia
Ability: Levitate
Bios: Ophelia is one of the more serious members of the team. Growing up in a harsh, cave-dwelling society made her hardened and indifferent to most things. There, she was trained to be a knight of sorts; being one of the few that knew Dark Pulse, she became a very powerful Hydreigon that ranked high in her village. But after losing to Jazz and realizing there were more powerful rivals outside her home that she could challenge, she joined the team willingly. Because of her odd mannerisms (from her culture), not many are friendly with her. In fact, her old-fashioned ways have been a topic of several jokes…but these are hardly ever said in front of Ophelia (probably because she would probably kill them).

Within the team she is arguably the strongest but other team members can beat her if they outspeed her. For this reason Jazz has been her rival…and the only one to really tease her without having his face blown off. Thus far, Jazz has been the only person who has managed to get her to smile…even laugh a little.

Name: Beans
Ability: Magic Guard
Bios: Beans grew up from a family of mediums and acrobats. So even if she was not born with arms, she managed by using telekinesis. At first though, her abilities were unfocused and weak, so her family created up a flexible, stretchable jelly-like hat with long hand-projections that she can control as her “limbs”. For this reason she really likes hats that have mittens attached to them. Over time, she became very adept with her psychic powers to the point where she can manipulation the dimensions within a certain radius (Trick Room). If caught in this “area” she can wreak a lot of havoc if pissed. Her ability allows her to scout around in any dangerous areas for the sake of her team, even if her girlfriend Anne sort of worries (inwardly) about it.

Because Beans is quite small, many assume her to be child-like but she really is not. She certainly does not like it when strangers treat her as such. Also, she loves desserts with condensed milk and jellybeans…even if some team members find that a little odd.

Name: Tesla
Ability: Levitate
Bios: Tesla keeps many things to herself. Unlike Ophelia, who keeps to herself and prefers to be alone, Tesla wishes she can socialize more but her nature makes her falter quite often. When she talks, it is barely above a whisper, which frustrates many. It also doesn’t help that her mouth is constantly covered. But her eyes/brows are very expressive, and her team members understand Tesla through that. Some call her a “Genie” at times since she simply floats around despite not having any telekinetic abilities. This does not really bother Tesla; for some reason she does not like to put her feet on the ground…if she does, she rubs the soles constantly as if they are contaminated. One can say she has germ-phobia, but she does not have the same reaction when her clothes drag on the ground.

Out of the team, she likes taking care of Timothy; she considers him a younger brother and is quite protective of him. Even though she is shy and avoids direct eye contact with most, she will rise up and fight if she finds Timothy in trouble.
